DILI: Members of Timor-Leste’s ruling coalition in parliament have voted not to reappoint Mari Alkatiri as President of the Oecusse Special Administrative Region (RAEOA), when his contract expires July.

Speaking in National Parliament on Monday, Nunes said the decision was unanimous between the three party coalition members and that it was “speculation” Gusmao would succeed Alkatiri in the role.
