Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and Timor Leste Foreign Minister Deonisio Babo at the bilateral meeting discussed this issue, and has prioritized to ratify the Sea border as soon as possible.
Both Ministries agreed to conduct annual meetings every year to reach agreements agreed upon by them.
In the meeting also discussed about Greater Sun Rise how the welfare of the people of Timor Leste in the future.
Both Ministries also want to follow UNCLOS regulations as a witness how to facilitate the settlement of disputes.
In the meeting also talked about how to deepen the working relationship to security of Maritime for combat crime transactional also protect the existing marine wealth and also commit in Regional Security and protect the marine wealth which has been agreed together.
Therefore bilateral cooperation should be enhanced through defense training, implementation of the Law of the sea and sharing information with each other.
The meeting also discussed the support of the Trilateral Socio-Economic Sector which has been done by Indonesia Timor Leste and Australia to improve the existing regional economic integrity.
They also want the Economic and Trade of TImor Leste to be respected and Australia commits to increase the labors from East Timor to work in Australia as a manifestation to provide employment to the youth and the people of East Timor generally.
