DILI: The Government of Timor-Leste has confirmed a $14.5 million budget to cover parliamentary election scheduled for 22 July, Tomas Cabral the Director of National Election Commission said Tuesday.
Cabral said political parties had until June 15 to submit parliamentary candidates and proposed campaigns to the Supreme Court for verification.
The Secretariat Technical of Administration of Electoral (STAE) has opened polling stations in England, South Korea, Portugal and Australia to enable Timorese citizens to vote.
The parliamentary is scheduled for 22 July.
