Vice Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Minister of Tourism and Environment Francisco Kalbaudy Lay said on Monday, part of the government’s push to transform the country’s economy and diversify it away from oil.
Business leaders and investors who will attend Timor-Leste’s International Business Forum on 23-25 November in Dili include those from Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Cambodia Myanmar, Vietnam, Brazil and South Korea, Japan as well as other nations.
Lay has touted the forum, which will provide potential investors market insight to set up businesses, as a forum that will spotlight tourism, agriculture, infrastructure, and energy investment opportunities.
