Gusmão will then travel to Greece on Sunday 14 April and Italy Thursday 18 April.
The Prime Minister’s agenda includes attending the 9th Our Ocean Conference in Athens focusing on sustainable marine tourism, reduction of marine plastic and advancing sustainable fisheries, the government said.
Gusmão is set to end his official visit in Venice, where he will meet with Timorese artist Maria Maderia who is exhibiting at the prestigious Venice Biannual Art Fair.
The Prime Minister will return to Dili on 23 April.
