Timor-Leste Covid-19 Cases Rise to 19 Featured

DILI:Timor-Leste’s Covid-19 response team reported one new Covid-19 case on Sunday, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 19.

The new patient had been in quarantine at Hotel Leceidere, after entering the country in a charter flight from Kupang, Indonesia, Dr Odete Viegas, the spokesperson for the Integrated Crisis Management Centre (CIGC) said.

Dr Viegas said the patient had spent a night at Travel Timor Hotel in Atambua before travelling to Dili where they had been quarantined.

She said 608 people remained in quarantine site, 594 people in sites across Dili and 134 in sites in the country’s municipalities.
