DILI: Dili’s rubbish collectors are struggling to meet their livelihood needs earning below Timor-Leste’s minimum wage of $115 a month and have nowhere to turn to get help, the Chief of Dili sanitation Domingos Soriano told the Independente on Tuesday.

DILI: Medical officials warn of health issues proliferating across Dili in the wake of torrential rain that caused massive flooding across the capital city on Friday.

The flooding caused major property damage throughout the city, with thousands affected, hundreds displaced, some injured and one dead.
