DILI: Former President of Timor-Leste Francisco ‘Lu Olo’ Guterres is in a strong and ‘stable’ condition in a hospital in Malaysia, the government said on Tuesday.
In the first update from the presidency, the statement labelled Lu Olo’s treatment a “routine check-up” and recuperation.
Lu Olo flew to Kuala Lumpa on September 22 with heart complications.
The presidency also confirmed that Lu Olo has been ordered to rest and will return to Timor-Leste “as soon as possible.”
