Frightened Families Shelter At Liquiçá Police Station

DILI: Around 53 people from Loerema village are living at the police compound in Liquiçá, after their houses were destroyed in a violent gang-related riot in their village earlier this month. The rampage left two people dead, three people serisouly injured and 13 houses were razed by fire.

DILI: Community police stationed around Manleuna in Dili are being investigated over a claim of a brutal attack that left a man with head wounds on Sunday morning.

The investigation was announced by Inspector Euclides Belo, Dili’s Deputy Police Commander on Tuesday.
